I finally finished creating this scene of a Witch's Altar. Though there are still a few things I'd have liked to added to it, such as a cauldron, some scrolls, and a greater variety of candles, I think it's best to leave it where it's at now and move on to the next project.
This project allowed me to learn several new techniques including Subsurface Scattering for the candles, Refraction for the bottles, and some interesting new texturing workflows.
Everything in the scene is made from scratch except for the table, which is from Quixel Megascans. I decided against making an entirely new table for the sake of saving time, as the table is not a focal point anyway. As always, sculpting in this project was done in ZBrush, UV unwrapping and base-mesh modelling in Blender, Texturing in Substance Painter and Marmoset and rendering in Marmoset.
